Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Database Administrator for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading Medical Company in Tucson, Arizona.<BR><BR>General Description: <BR>Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. <BR>Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes.<BR>Resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. <BR>You will work on every aspect of technical development, from requirement analysis, design, development, testing through to deployment and the management of the production environment. <BR><BR>Work Experience:<BR>In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience <BR>Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2000 &amp; 2005 RDBMS on large systems <BR>Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects <BR>Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service <BR>Experience of Transactional SQL, and DTS stored procedures <BR>Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security <BR>You should have experience with .NET Framework 1.1 and higher <BR>Experience with maintaining SQL Server 2000 objects and handling performance issues <BR>Knowledge of XML, XHTML, XMLHTTP would be an added advantage <BR><BR>Education Requirements:<BR>MCDBA certification<BR>Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field preferred <BR>Two years healthcare experience preferred<BR>Two years managed care experience preferred<BR><BR>If you are interested in this opportunity or other opportunities available through Adecco Engineering and Technical, please apply online or email directly to (see below).<BR><BR>The Adecco Group is a Fortune Global 500 company and the global leader in HR services.
