Position Summary

The Family Services Coordinator will provide superior customer service and office clerical support while facilitating the donor screening and informed consent process in the Family Services department. This important department is the public side of the company which networks with funeral home providers and caregivers while providing donor and donor family communications by helping people with the informed consent process, medical screenings, and delivering exceptional NOK services.

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field, from a four-year college or university.

3-5 years experience in office clerical and/or customer service

Knowledge

Computer Skills: MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, MS Access, MS Power Point (must be proficient in typing) Required to take a typing test.

Position Elements

Required Elements:

Ensure high level of detail in department for documentation, tracking, control, and record safekeeping.

Meet requirements for detailed donor documentation and record keeping.

Ability to learn and understand basic medical terminology.

Superior customer service to both internal and external clients.

Superior typing, data entry and office clerical skills.
