Our client is a highly popular online services provider seeking an Administrative resource to contribute to 24x7 operational support of their eCommerce sites and corporate infrastructure, providing troubleshooting of applications and hardware (servers/network devices).

The Associate Systems Administrator must possess significant work experience in a production, mission-critical, revenue-dependent, 24x7 environment. S/He will be accountable for maintaining and updating standards, policies, procedures and documentation. The ASA must be able to follow defined processes to ensure that the production and corporate environments maintain SOX and PCI compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing internal operational support for a wide variety of clustered systems, stand-alone servers, applications, load balancers, various network LAN/WAN devices, batch processes, and databases for corporate and eCommerce infrastructure
  
• Monitoring all systems for failures
  
• Investigation of day-to-day live-site issues on eCommerce and corporate systems in a mixed-mode environment
  
• Monitoring connectivity health and status of our 3rd party partners
  
• Managing and triaging multiple incidents in parallel
  
• Providing notification and escalation for maintenance and outage activities
  
• Following prescribed procedures and documenting all work performed in the ticketing system
